Nourishing the Teacher (inquiries, contemplations, & insights on the path of yoga)

By: Danny Arguetty with Anjali Budreski and Kelli Adams

Who: “The text is geared toward yoga practitioners with at least one year of consistent practice experience and teachers of yoga.” It is a must read for yoga instructors. Even if you are a seasoned yogi or yogini, Arguetty reminds the reader to approach life with beginner’s mind, we develop a spacious capacity for receiving and learning from the various facets of life.”

How and What: The author, Sanny Arguetty, organized the book into short sections. Each section has a theme, text to contemplate, inquiries for on and off matt, and insights on practice. The language within each section kindles the reader to expand and broaden their expression as a practitioner of yoga.

Extra: Pure potential, a separate section, creates a diving board for the yoga instructor to create personal inquiries and contemplations. “The details” section gives tidbits on the authors. It is a little window into their lives located on page 271.
